UGANDAUnbeatable climate
Uganda is on the equator, yet at an average altitude of 4,000 feet, enjoys weather rather akin to a year-round British summer.

The Thrilling threesome… and then some!

Semliki Safari Lodge is a high-end, low impact safari lodge set amid over 550 km2 of game reserve. The experience is a private one, the staff to client ratio is nearly 1:1, and you will be enveloped in comfort from the moment you arrive. Semliki offers three rare opportunities difficult to get together in any other park in Uganda- wild Chimpanzees, the Shoebill Stork, and the chance to catch a Tiger Fish on Lake Albert. Not to mention the Semliki hospitality that comes naturally!

1Arrive at Semliki by road or air. Relax by the pool and enjoy sundowners as the sun sinks behind the “Mountains of the Moon”. After supper take a nocturnal game drive to spot civets, the Pennant Winged Nightjar. Sleep in your luxurious four poster bed in the midst of wilderness.

2An early start after a light breakfast we’ll have  a sunrise game drive. Return to lodge for lunch. Drive to the edge of the forest. On foot with your guide, you will go for a forest walk for a chance to see wild chimps and other wildlife.

3After breakfast, travel to Lake Albert via Ntoroko, a secluded fishing village. Boat trip on the lake for birds spotting and fishing –maybe we’ll see the legendary Shoebill!

Splendid dinner at the lodge

4Wonderful farewell breakfast, a forest walk, and then it’s time to leave for our return to Kampala.
